EBGBA is excited to announce two of its past Presidents, Desirae Sanders and Taneashia Morrell, have been elected in 2025 to serve three-year terms as Directors for the San Diego County Bar Association. It is a significant achievement to be chosen by the legal community to represent them on the SDCBA Board. The Bernard E. Witkin Awards are presented annually to honor members of the San Diego legal community for civic leadership and excellence in the practice of the law, adjudication of the law, legal education, and the advancement of access to justice. The awards are named after Bernard Witkin, a lawyer, writer, lecturer, California Supreme Court clerk, and Reporter of Decisions.
